Inserting images to a record (Accounts, Contacts, Leads, etc)
1. Go to Setup.
2. Click on Customize (or Create to go to a custom object).
3. Select the object (Accounts for example).
4. Go to fields.
5. Click on New to create a new custom field.
6. Make sure that the field type is Text Area (Rich)
7. Follow the custom field wizard and hit save
8. Once you have created the field, go to the record where you want to paste the image
I am using an Account record, but these also works on other objects
9. Go to Accounts (or object you are working on)
10. Click on the Name of the record
11. Hit Edit
12. Go to the Custom Field created (Text Area Rich), and click where it says Insert Image
13. Once there you can either:
-Upload image and browse it from your computer
Or
-Paste the link where the image is located
14. Save Record

1. Click the link on the download page @ http://mobile.salesforce.com/setup
2. Click the ‘Download’ button on Installer download page
3. Download installer
4. Click ‘Continue’ on browser launch message
5. Click continue on firewall prompt
6. A brief return to the original download browser page
7. Click the ‘Download’ link on the Client download page
8. Client is downloaded
9. Success message
10. Return to home screen (Salesforce Mobile icon now present)
11. Allow firewall prompt
12. Open application an accept license agreement
13. Enter Salesforce credentials and ‘Activate’ from menu
14. Device info sent message
15. Data download in progress
16. Login when data download is complete
